Tiles & Shower

SprayTilesFor a natural way to clean the tiles in the bathroom and shower area the Bosisto’s Famous Wool Wash Recipe mixture is ideal.

Pure Soap Flakes ½ packet (300 g)
Methylated Spirits 1 cup (200mL)
Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil 1 small bottle (50mL)

Use the mixture to dampen the tiles or benches and either use a scrubbing brush or wipe to clean dirty marks. It is recommended to use a scrubbing brush to remove excess build up. Repeat the process if necessary, rinse off with warm water and wipe dry.

To clean the shower screen use Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Spray. Wipe glass and mirrors with a newspaper for a clean finish.

Kitchen Bench Tops

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Spray is terrific on benches and tabletops. To clean and disinfect use Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil or Spray to wipe bench tops and sink. The disinfectant properties will kill germs and deodorise the area. Alternatively mix together some detergent, hot water and a teaspoon of eucalyptus oil and wipe benches clean.

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil and Spray cleans grease from glass, enamel and other hard surfaces. 

To disinfect and clean door handles, bench top, bins and other areas simply wipe with a clean cloth moistened with Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil or use the Spray.

Sparkling Floors

Window Cleaning

Dirty windows can become clean and sparkling by spraying with Bosisto’s Eucalyptus and wiping over with damp newspaper.  This application also works on mirrors.  To minimise fogging, clean the mirror with methylated spirits or vinegar and water and then wipe over with eucalyptus oil and damp newspaper.

Bedrooms often smell musty especially in winter when the windows are not opened as frequently.  To freshen the bedroom spray Bosisto’s Eucalyptus on your mattress and mattress protectors when changing the sheets as well as the pillows and carpet.  It cleans the room and also acts as a deterrent for dust mites.

Cupboards can also have a stale or musty odour associated with dampness.  To freshen use hot soapy water mixed with a couple of teaspoons of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil and wipe walls and floor. Rinse with clean water. Dry thoroughly. An easy and convenient alternative is to use the Spray in cupboards.  Use a cloth dampened with eucalyptus oil to remove dust on window sills.

Anti-Moth & Silverfish Treatment

To deter moths or silverfish in your cupboards spray or wipe drawer liners or cupboard walls with Bosisto's Eucalyptus Spray or Oil.   A spray or drop of oil on a padded coat hanger also works as a deterrent and freshens the air.

Central Heating & Air Conditioners

Both central heaters and air conditioning unit filters require regular cleaning.  To prevent dust and fumes being distributed throughout the house, wash filter in soapy water then rinse with clean water with a couple of teaspoons of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil added.  The eucalyptus oil will disinfect the filter and create a pleasant fragrance in your house. Always read manufacturer’s instructions first.

Adding a few drops of eucalyptus oil to water coolers will also help clean, deodorise and freshen rooms. 


Carpet Cleaner

Carpet Cleaning with Bosisto's Eucalyptus SprayStains, grease, oil and grass marks are easy to remove from carpets.  Use the Spray or an oil moistened cloth on spots and stains and wipe away with a clean absorbent cloth.

Brushing towards the centre of the mark helps prevent the formation of a ring. Your carpet stays dry and ready for use. You can walk on it immediately and there is no resoiling.

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil is harmless to material and it does not stain or smear. However it is recommended to patch test a small area first.

Spot & Stain Remover

You will find it easy to remove oil soluble grease and grass marks, spots and stains from clothes, fabric and furnishings with a cloth moistened with Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil.   Where possible place an absorbent cloth under the stained area.  By brushing towards the centre of the mark you will prevent the formation of a ring.  Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil is harmless to most materials and it does not stain or smear. Adhesive Labels & Bandages

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil or Spray is excellent for removing sticky adhesive labels from articles without damage. Dampen a cloth and rub the required area. Leave on for one minute to help the label peel off. As a precaution test on an unseen area first.

Many retail outlets find Bosisto’s Eucalyptus invaluable for removing price stickers and other sticky labels from products.

Adhesive bandages and sticking plaster dampened with oil will lift off easily and painlessly.

Chewing Gum & Ballpoint Ink Marks

Quickly remove chewing gum and ball point ink marks from clothes, shoes and furnishings with a cloth soaked in Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil or by using Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Spray.

Plastic & Vinyl

Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil is excellent for cleaning ink, printing ink, carbon and other marks off most plastic and vinyl. It is recommended to test on an unseen area first to ensure it will not affect plastic surfaces.


Leather Cleaner

Wet a clean cloth and add a few drops of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil.  Wipe over marked area in a circular motion.  It does not generally harm leather, however test on an unseen area first.


Smelly Shoes

Shoes or sneakers can become musty or smelly quite quickly.  To refresh them place shoes outside in sunshine and clean with a damp cloth moistened with Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil.   

To help prevent shoe odours soak some cotton wool with a teaspoonful of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil.   Place the cotton wool wad into the toe of an old stocking and put in the toe of any shoe. Not only does this help prevent odours it also helps keeps the shape intact.


Paint Brushes

Oil paint brushes can be restored by soaking in Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil.
